Nokia X9 Incoming

Nokia-x9Following on from the mid-range Nokia X6, we could be about to see the launch of the high-end Nokia X9 – a similar device in terms of form factor, but packing in the latest features. With concepts offering a stunning design, it could be the perfect handset to take over the mantle from the Nokia 5800. To find out more about the Nokia X9, read on after the jump…

Looking at the concept photographs for the Nokia X9, and this device could be one of Nokia’s most stylish to date. The screen in the images stretches right to the very edge of the handset, giving it a sleek appearance, and rounded edges to the handset also give it a contemporary appearance.

Details of the Nokia X9 appeared on Techie Buzz, along with the image above, and if they’re correct then the Nokia X9 will feature a capacitive touchscreen display. This falls in line with the Nokia X6, although according to Techie Buzz you can also expect to find a camera capable of recording in HD 720p, and a quad LED flash for night time use.

If the Nokia X9 is launched after the appearance of the upcoming Symbian ^3 operating system, there’s even the chance that this could be the first handset to take advantage of the new OS, setting it apart from existing touchscreen Nokia devices.

Unfortunately, there aren’t any further details on the Nokia X9, but check out the concept images below, courtesy of Pestaola.

If this is genuine, this is obvsiouly Symbian^4. You can tell with the top bar in the front facing picture, where the top left corner shows reception and battery next to one another.
