The Nokia C5 is the first device set to be launched as part of the brand spanking new Nokia C Series but apart from a press shots no one has really seen what it looks like, until now that is. The Nokia C5 is set to launch later this year and comes with a 2.2-inch screen and a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. When it comes to extra features you’ll find a 3.2-Megapixel camera, stereo FM radio and 3.5mm AV connector. What’s more, the Homescreen can have your three favourite contacts sat right there. A neat new feature also allows you to get updates direct from Facebook.

Nokia is pitching this device as the first truly affordable smartphone for the mainstream but aside from the official Nokia C5 images there haven’t been too many snaps of the phone in action. The good guys over at Symbian World have managed to spend a little camera time with the Nokia C5 – check the site for more examples.

The Nokia C5 looks a nicely balanced device and you really get a feel for its size when compared alongside the Nokia N97 Mini. We’re hoping someone gets to show pictures of it next to the Nokia 6700 classic as the two handsets have a lot in common candybar wise.
