Nokia Beta Labs updated

New-Nokia-Beta-LabsBeta Labs, a Nokia division that’s responsible for testing and bringing new Nokia applications to market, along with gathering feedback from users, received a major overhaul yesterday. Beta Labs is a fantastic resource for all the latest Nokia apps, with some excellent innovations made since its creation. The latest incarnation is a welcome improvement, and is easier than ever to use. To find out more, read on after the break…

The latest version of Beta Labs brings with it a host of progressive changes. One of the most useful new features is the ability to follow upcoming apps. Sign up to follow the ones you’re interested in, and you’ll be able to keep track of the latest details and developments on that app – from the first iteration to the final, finished product.

There have also been changes to the way feeds work within Beta Labs, with the ability to get the best and latest info as it happens. The update sees two types of feed available – one for the apps you’re following, aggregating all the feedback currently available from the Beta Labs community, and the other feed offering up comments related to any threads you’ve been a part of on the Beta Labs site.

Bug reporting has also received an overhaul, according to Nokia Conversations, with an enhanced structure in place for bug reports, along with suggestions on how the apps can be improved. This follows feedback from both users and developers involved with Beta Labs. Along with the ability for users to rate the feedback of other users, it means that developers will be able to make the best decisions on how to take an app forward, with a final product that’s more in tune with users.

There are a host of over changes to Beta Labs, but we recommend having a play with it yourself. Visit Beta Labs, and let us know what you think of the updates.
