Nokia E72 gets Firmware Update to v22.007
The Nokia E72 is a great little handset, with its QWERTY keypad and slimline casing, but it’s had the same firmware since it was released in November. It’s set to get an overhaul in the form of Firmware Update v22.007, however, which should bring a lot more stability to the handset. To find out more about the Nokia E72 firmware update v22.007, read on after the break…
Although the update isn’t set to make any changes to functionality, it should help to iron out any bugs in your Nokia E72, helping it to run smoother and with more stability. Fone Arena reports that v22.007 isn’t available to download OTA (Over the Air) – which won’t matter to those of you with limited data allowances, as the software is a hefty 160MB. It’s still a shame that the option of downloading it OTA isn’t available though.
Instead, you’ll have to use the Nokia Software Update software on your PC to download the latest software to your Nokia E72. As always, just make sure you backup all your important contacts and files before proceeding with the update, just in case.
We haven’t currently got a Nokia E72, so haven’t had the opportunity to try this update. If you’ve installed v22.007 on your Nokia E72 though, let us know how you got on.
