It’s been a busy week for Nokia, bringing out the Nokia 6700 Classic Gold Edition and the Nokia 6760 Slide hitting the shops but that hasn’t stopped the Nokia 5235 Comes With Music being announced. Based on the as-yet-unreleased Nokia 5230 this latest version is aimed at the music lover as it bundles Nokia Music free downloads with it. Nokia announced the Nokia 5230 back in August of this year and while we’re still waiting for this entry-level smartphone to poke its head out of the door, Nokia has announced a Comes With Music variant in the form of the Nokia 5235 Comes With Music.

When the Nokia 5230 was first announced it was mentioned that a Comes With Music version would also be launched but we’re not sure at this point whether this is the same device. The main difference seems to be that Nokia has stripped away the colour backing from this variant, giving a neat chrome look.

What’s more, with a list price of 145 Euros, it’s also a lot cheaper than the Nokia 5230 Comes With Music was stated to be, which was listed as potentially being 259 Euros, so this is a bargain device!

The Nokia 5235 Comes With Music comes with a3.2-inch touchscreen, 2-Megapixel camera and up to 18 days standby time. To make the most of music you’ll be able to use the 3.5mm audio jack and plug directly into your Nokia music player. What’s more, being a CWM device you’ll get full access to over 6 million tracks that can be downloaded. Any music you download is yours to keep.

Nokia Music Store can be launched directly from the homescreen for snagging the odd track but for full albums we’d recommend tying the CWM account to your laptop.  It also comes with the new Contacts bar that allows you to add up to 20 contacts with pictures and scroll between them. You’ll find a super-fast HSDPA connection for getting access to email and the internet and with a claimed 33 hours of playback from the media player.

The Nokia 5235 Comes With Music is set to ship in the first quarter of 2010, making this one of the most cost-effective music phones anywhere!
