Nokia E72 Black and White Editions
The Nokia E72 is getting close and after what seems like a rather long wait, it’s expected to launch later this month. What’s more, it looks like it’ll be an exclusive on Vodafone to start with, as the carrier has snapped up the rights to the Nokia E72 Black Edition till January 2010. This got us thinking, who will be releasing the Nokia E72 White Edition?
The Nokia E72 takes everything we loved about the Nokia E71 and wraps it up into a slimmer and slighter version. So, you’ll still find super-fast 3G and a tweaked QWERTY keyboard to help make this best messenger device around. What’s more, the camera has been beefed-up to 5-Megapixel with auto-focus for super-snaps. Then there is built-in GPS, Wi-Fi and a 3.5mm audio jack too.
Vodafone is offering the Nokia E72 for free as long as you stump up £30 a month on a two-year contract. Also you can go for the £300 on Pay as You Go option.
On the Vodafone site you’ll find that the carrier stresses the fact that they have the Nokia E72 Black Edition, which would suggest that when the Nokia E72 starts to ship it’ll be available from other carriers in different colours. If you check out the Nokia E72 product page over at Nokia Online you’ll find that three different colours have been specified, Zodium Black, Metal Grey and Topaz Brown would certainly seem to back this idea up.

However, there is no hint at this stage of a Nokia E72 White Edition. With it proving so successful on other handsets, surely it’s only a matter of time before the Nokia E72 White Edition makes an exclusive pop-up – but who with? Nokia Online has the Nokia E72 up for pre-order for just £359 (inc. VAT) SIM free.
Which version of the Nokia E72 are you going to plumb for? Do you care what colour it is, as long as you get the best deal around? Let us know in the Comments below.
