As Bob Dylan sang, ‘the times they are a changing‘ and so it is for Nokia Music for PC as it is not only in the midst of receiving something of a major update it’s also getting a new colour and, more importantly, a new name. So, fire up your Nokia Music for PC for the last time and welcome Ovi Player. Find out how to change Nokia Music PC for Ovi Player after the jump…
Nokia Music for PC is being updated and with it comes a name chanege to Ovi Player. To get the update you need to fire up Nokia Music for PC and head to Menu>Help and check for any updates. That’s the official way, when we just fired it up we were presented with a message to update. It’s now downloaded and we’re in the process of checking it out.
You can still get access to all your music and the Nokia Music store. The instant difference is that playing your music is a lot simpler, with a far quicker switch and load up process. The mini-player is also a nice touch. We’ll bring you a full review once we’ve tested it out a little more.
So, if you’re using Nokia Music for PC, what are you waiting for? Go get your hands on Ovi Player!
