The Nokia 5730 XpressMusic has received another firmware update, taking it from 100.48.122 to firmware version v.101.48.128. This isn’t a major update but according to reports, the new firmware irons out a few issues as well as adding a few additional extras. Read on after the jump for more details of the Nokia 5730 XpressMusic Firmware v.101.48.128 update…
The Nokia 5730 xpressMusic is one of our favourite devices, it has both functionality, form, and enough apps and entertainment to keep you engaged for hours. However, there were always a few little ticks here and there, and keeping your device regularly updated with the latest software is pretty important – it’s sort of like an MOT for your mobile – so if you’re a Nokia 5730 user, make sure you get your hands on the new v.101.48.128 update.
As you’d expected, the firmware can be downloaded from your PC or directly over the air. In addition, there’s also UDP, which means none of your data will be lost while updating.
Initial reports suggest that a number of small bugs have been fixed, including the internet radio, which now works properly. There is also a new LED notification for new emails, and also a small improvement in speed.
Have you put the new v.101.48.128 on your device yet? Have you spotted any improvements that we’ve missed? Tell us in the Comments below.
