Nokia N900 price and tariffs released
The Nokia N900 is easily one of the most eagerly anticipated Nokia devices to come out for quite some time. As we mentioned earlier, it nowlooks like it could be landing on the 16th November. At least that’s what phone comparison website Omio is saying anyway. While this date may, or may not, be “official” there is some additional good news – the price of the Nokia N900. Read on after the jump for more details.
With all the technology crammed into the Nokia N900 we, like a lot of other people, were expecting the N900 to carry a rather hefty price tag. However, if the early deals – 100 of which have been posted in their database – by Omio are to be believed to be true, it looks like Nokia’s new flagship device is actually rather reasonably priced.

At present, the best looking deals are being put forward by Orange and O2 who are both offering a range of 18 – 24 month contracts. One that immediately caught our eye was the 24 month contract which offers 600 minutes and 500 texts for a rather humble price tag of £30 per month on O2 and £35 on Orange.
The Nokia N900 isn’t free on either of the contracts, which is a bit disappointing, but you’re still getting a powerful Maemo 5 powered computer with 32GB of internal storage, amazing web browser, 5 megapixel Carl Zeiss camera and a DVD quality video recorder for the price of £9.99 on O2 and £19.99 on Orange when you opt to go on contract.
Another Orange deal is priced at £35 per month, and for this you get the Nokia N900 for free, 900 minutes and unlimited texts, which is a pretty good deal, particularly when you consider the frankly abhorrent iPhone tariffs Orange announced this week. Needless to say, we know which device we’ll be opting for!
However, if contracts aren’t for you then you can pick up the Nokia N900 for £499 (inc. VAT) SIM-free on the Nokia website.
