Nokia is providing support for the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon for the second year running. This year’s event will take place on the 11th October and will see an array of celebrities taking part, including Nell McAndrew who will be taking her Nokia 5800 Comes With Music along for the ride.

Training for a half marathon is obviously quite a commitment, and Nell McAndrew has been training hard with her Nokia 5800 in preparation for the 13.1 mile jaunt. Needless to say, Nell’s Nokia 5800 will be joining her on the marathon so that she can listen to all her favourite tracks as makes her way around the circuit.

Additionally, Nell’s progress will be monitored by GPS tracking via the Nokia Sports Tracker app on her handset, which means she’ll be able to see constant updates on her progress, whereabouts she is, and exactly how many miles she’s covered and at what speed.

To coincide with the event Nokia has launched RunWithMusic, which is a website where people can vote for their favourite motivational tracks. On the actual day, the top 10 tracks will be played by live bands along the course to spur on the 15,000 runners.
