Nokia 5800 v Nokia 5730 XpressMusic in Pictures!
The Nokia 5730 XpressMusic has landed and the first thing we noticed was how similar it looked in size and shape to the Nokia 5800. True, there are obvious differences, like the keyboard and keypad but with the Nokia 5800 having sold over eight million devices, Nokia could well be on to a winner in the size stakes. Check out how both devices compare after the jump…
Yes, we know the Nokia 5800 is a touchscreen smartphone running the Symbian S60 5th Edition OS, while the Nokia 5730 XpressMusic sports the Symbian S60 3rd Edition version, so lacks touchscreen functions. Yes, we’re also aware that the Nokia 5730 XpressMusic comes with a slide-out keyboard, something you won’t find on the Nokia 5800. However, side-by-side these two devices look remarkably similar.
OK, ignore the keypad on the front of the Nokia 5730 XpressMusic too and look at the two devices. They sure share the same shape and size and even have the same degree of balance when you hold them in the hand.
If you liked the weight and balance of the Nokia 5800 but are in the market for something with a little more QWERTY action, then we think you may well be on to a winner checking out the Nokia 5730 XpressMusic.
What do you think, has Nokia used the Nokia 5800 size as a template for it’s lastest phones? Let us know what you think in the Comments below.
