Nokia World 2009: Nokia Booklet 3G Unboxing!

Nokia World 2009: Nokia Booklet 3G Unboxing! If you thought the idea of Nokia designing the best looking 3G mini-laptop stopped with the Nokia Booklet 3G itself. Then you’ll be amazed at what’s in store when you get your hands on the Nokia Booklet 3G for real. Check out our Nokia World 2009: Nokia Booklet 3G Unboxing pictures to see the level of detail gone in to making this the best product ever… period!

The Nokia Booklet 3G is set to change the way we look at mini-laptops and netbooks forever. This isn’t just some bargain number but a premium device for the true mobile user. With a 12 hour battery, hot-swappable SIM card and all the features you’d expect from a high-end digital media machine, we reckon the SIM free price of 575 Euros (around £500 inc. VAT) looks like being something of a real snip.

The thing is, the same level of detail has even gone into the design of the Nokia Booklet 3G packaging. Take a look at our unboxing images below and see for yourself. How good does the Nokia Booklet 3G look? Let us know what you think in the Comments below.

I have been a Nokia fan for over 12 years but then I bought a Macbook and I have seen the light!!

Microsoft/PC’s are total rubbish, I cant believe I never changed to a Mac before now.

Then all my friends, knowing I’m a Nokia boy kept showing me their iPhones and saying how basic and dull my 5800/N97 looked.

I then started playing around with one and then I saw the light!!

I now have a Factory Unlocked iPhone from Italy so able to use it with my Vodafone Sim and I have to say that I love it more than any Nokia I have owned (and I’ve owned a lot!).

No one can ever say “see the level of detail gone in to making this the best product ever… period!” when Windows is involved! LOL.

It would have hurt me to say this a month or so ago, but if these are the best phones Nokia can bring out then Apple has no worries at the top end of the market.

    Apple is the future!

You\’re an idiot. Have fun with your 3.2mp crap-focus camera with an excellent no flash feature which makes night shots all the more better and all the other \"technologies\" (I believe that\’s what you people call it) that have been in phones longer than the iPhone has existed until finally the 3rd generation. And I\’m sure to not exclude your awesome macbook. I\’m sure you must have paid a good deal of money to get all 2 gigs of ram (or 4 depending on how much of an idiot you really are) and full compatibility of everything that\’s almost nothing. I\’m sure you\’ll need all that crap for \"all\" those processes you\’ll be running including word processing, surfing the web, and simple gaming because hardly any good games are even compatible with macs. You should live in America. Despite living here, its full of geniuses like you who think Apple rules the world. I All Apple products were made for idiots who can\’t understand simple complications of a smartphone or a decent computer. Even more of a reason to believe you\’re a \"genius\" in disguise. Maybe you can take this text, save it to an iwork document, and transfer it to your iPhone\’s extra large 32Gb of memory to remind yourself of all the mistakes you made. Oh I almost forgot. My sincerest apologies. I totally forgot you can\’t use your iPhone\’s internal memory as storage memory… Maybe they\’ll decide it would be a good idea to do that for the next iPhone! Then you can buy that one for an unlocked and unsubsidized priced or commit yourself to a contract for all of its \"futuristic\" goodness. And then buy the next one, and the next one, and the next one until you finally realized all the money you spent and all the time you wasted on your future iPhones could have been spent to buy your mother, who\’s probably waiting for you to come home so you can head straight to your room and play with all your apple goodies, a nice dinner. And by the way, that\’s no ordinary light you\’re seeing. That\’s the glorious 320×480 nanHD(not-anywhere-near High Definition, patent pending) backlight coming from your little iPhone.

    I don\’t get it.

It is too expensive to give away by phone companies on a plan. It looks like YAWN (yet another windows netbook.) Sure, it looks nice, but so do netbooks by many other established players in the market with existing distribution channels.

I am also with Mike the Mac Fanboi – any laptop/netbook without a multi-touch trackpad is not worth having. I have an open mind about Windows 7 still (not very open given the MS track record though)

Joseph, you and Nokia still don’t get it – it is about software and ‘usability’, not the hardware specs. The iphone might have a ‘crappy’ camera, but it is still the device with the most uploaded pictures on flickr. It might only have a 320×480 screen resolution – but if I want to code for Nokia I have to factor in 176×144,176×208,240×320,416×352,640×200,640×320,800×352 and the next 3 screen resolutions they decide to use for the rest of the year – how can they get a consistent look and feel?

You can still get over £100 from a 2 year old 1st gen iphone – you can’t give away a 2yo Nokia phone that happened to be the latest bells and whistles phone that Nokia released that month.

Listen Joseph, wake up and learn something….Geoff knows best!

I was a pure Nokia fanboy, geek, whatever until only a couple of months ago but Apple is killing everyone at the top end with Macbook and iPhone.

And so will everyone, how dull do these new Nok’s look, these are not objects of desire and look forward to own. These will be given away free on every contract and kids of 12 everywhere will have one.

White iPhone 3GS feels and looks special when you hold it and you know that not everyone is going to have one because they are free.

Wake up and get down to Apple and start living, if your aloud to leave your bedroom!

And if you dont want an iPhone make sure you pick up a new cloth to wipe all the fingerprints off your new Nokia touch screen!

Hahaha. Someone first needs to learn how to spell. Its \\"allowed\\" genius. Nokia and I… As much as I like Nokia, I\\\’ll even admit there are better phones out there. Just as interesting and in many ways better. A LOT better than an iPhone at that. Samsung, LG, HTC. Hell even Sony learned how to drop their standard UI they\\\’ve been using for the last 10 years for the latest S60.
And Geoff I\\\’m so happy for you. I didn\\\’t know it was still interesting to code for phones that came out for the much older s60 devices. If only you got out of your room to remember, 320×240 for s60v3 nokias and 360×640 for s60v5 nokias. It really hasn\\\’t changed within the last 5 years so I dont know why you would want to write a code for anything older.
Dull… Last I recall, the iPhone and the macbooks have taken the same form factor for the last 2 years. And you\\\’re wrong again. Alot of people have iPhones. Kids over here about the age of 12 to mentally retarded have an iPhone. I wonder which one you are…
Oh Geoff, that latest Nokia with the bells and whistles of a Nokia 2 years ago will always have more functionality of the iPhone with the latest bells and whistles 10 years from now. And wow, you are very right. EVERYONE needs a multi-touch track pad!!! How could i be so ignorant. I mean of course, I could do all the same with a standard mouse and/or trackpad, but how could i possibly live without multi-touch??? Its soooo important. Next time, try to state something important or \\"saving the world\\" useful that a mac can do that a pc cannot. I\\\’m not a huge windows fan either but PC\\\’s that run them are alot more interesting than a mac imho.
I try not to get on apple for their latest technology because they have their own crowd to market to, that being the general public, who are looking for something simple to toy with. Usability and software. Thats definitely something I\\\’d take my hat off to for apple. Nothing becomes easier to use next Mike\\\’s mom. But once you people start comparing this phone to an actual phone, its so adorable its kinda easy to stop and laugh.
So yeah, I\\\’ll get out of my room (i\\\’m actually gonna do that right now), as long as you get out of your mom (kinda doubtful… =/). You guys can keep posting but this was fun while it lasted. Have fun talking amongst or flaming this imaginary Joseph and his wild fantasies with apple and nokia. You two are definitely cool. You two should buhtseckz it up once Mike is done with his mom.

Hahaha. Someone first needs to learn how to spell. Its Mum you Dip sh:t.

Next time, try to state something important or \\"saving the world\\" useful that a mac can do that a pc cannot.

Ok I will….. It works. Unlike your Mum or if your a retard….mom!

I was gonna stop but you’re just too stupid to ignore. You’re clearly unaware other countries exist. You would know if you looked at where your iPhone was made. See kids, in America, we use the word mom, or mother. I hope all people from whatever country you’re from aren’t like you. On the upside at least it would be more understandable for you all to own iPhones. Maybe if you weren’t slamming your MOM so hard or slurping on Geoff’s schlong (I’m assuming you’re already on it because you obviously got a major hard after his somewhat non-sense comments) you’d realize you yourself, are in fact. a retard. You’re obviously mad because you lack the IQ to create a decent comeback. It’s okay though. I understand your situation on a full scale. We have a separate school for people like you. I drive by their bus stop everyday to drop off your MOM. And don’t hope you can get on America. If it weren’t for America, you’d be replying to me in German, you simple, MOM-slamming, sorry excuse for a retard.
As Mac “fanbois,” I’m very surprised you people are wasting your “precious” time posting comments on a NOKIA site and are not trying fix the mind-numbing crisis about why the majority of work you have to turn in is in a format used by Microsoft. But, it has nothing to do with the fact that about 90 of the entire world uses PC’s. Nope, can’t be it… Have fun.
PS: I apologize for all the retards I have offended by associating Mike with one of them.
PSS: Geoff, this one is for you. If for some reason ever decide to post on a NOKIA site as a mac “fanboi.” This screen resolution thing. Its called “Progression.” You may have heard of it. You see, as time goes by, so does technology. And yes, that includes, what is it kids? Screens and resolution. That’s right! So try to keep up. Or you can stay enclosed inside your little box aka Apple. I’m sure the ponies and rainbows in there should be enough to keep you distracted while technology finds a way to slam your mom for you.

More than 90% of the people that drive in the world don’t drive a Rolls Royce. Does that not make it the most refined vehicle money can buy?

Tell you what, Geoff and I will have the Rolls (Apple) and you can stick with your stupid Muscle cars (PC’s and Nokia) that actually don’t have ANY muscle. LOL.

Guys, loving the enthusiasm and don’t want to start censoring any of this stuff, but would be good if comments stayed on topic. Please, no derogatory or personal comments, we’d like you guys to discuss the merits of the topic in hand – namely, how cool the Nokia Booklet 3G looks!

I’d point you at the T&Cs for use of the site: http://noknok.tv/terms-and-conditions/

Sincerest apologies Mikey. It was just kinda fun. The Nokia Booklet is pretty nice though. Been looking for a portable netbook to carry around. And for Nokia to release one, what better way to pair it up with my N97? Pure Hotness

Pairing this with a Nokia N900, so we get Windows syncing withe Linux – could that be the future?
