Nokia Booklet 3G mini-laptop launches! The Nokia Booklet 3G will cost around an estimated 575 Euros (around £500 inc. VAT) when it ships in later this year. This is great news, as it keeps it firmly in the realm of premium netbooks out there. We’re hoping to get come hands-on time with the Nokia Booklet 3G later today, and we’ll be checking out whether 575 Euros is well spent…

The Nokia Booklet 3G will be priced around 575 Euros, or £500 (inc. VAT), which considering you’ll be getting the most premium mini-laptop out there, with Windows 7 OS, full Ovi Suite tools and an Intel Atom processor, this is a knock-out price.

With 12 hours of battery life on the go, with a hot-swappable SIM card, the Nokia Booklet 3G looks like being the sure-fire hit we always wanted from Nokia’s first mini-laptop!

Hi , Mikey , I checked out the specs , but to tell you the truth not impressed with the netbook , I use a HP 2140 combined with my E71 ( you will need a phone when carrying Booklet does not support voice ) and I find it of much better use with E71 having GPS out and running Google Earth / OVI Maps on HP 2140
I did a little analysis at

@Farhan. Fair points but what about the 16-cell battery that should deliver 12 hours of battery life? Then there is the HD support, not sure if the HP had HDMI but doubt it? The Booklet 3G is a high-end mini-laptop, so isn’t trying to be a netbook, just share some of the form factor.
