Nokia N97 Mini Official Photo
The Nokia N97 Mini has made its first official debut from the same source as we saw with the Nokia N900 tablet. Like the Nokia N900, the Nokia N97 Mini still has yet to be announced as official by Nokia but with the emergence of this image it bodes well for Nokia World 2009. Check out the Nokia N97 Mini after the jump….
The Nokia N97 Mini has popped up in the form of an official photo. The device that has quickly become the ‘most leaked’ story in Nokia history still hasn’t been announced yet but the arrival of this official shot backs up claims that we’ll see it in the flesh at Nokia World 2009 next week.
Leaked by French site BeGeek, there is nothing more to be gleaned at this point other than the image itself, as the site hasn’t managed to pull any details out of its source.
Check out what we know about the Nokia N97 Mini
Nokia hasn’t just shrunk the Nokia N97 down to a mini size, it looks like they’ve also taken the time to tweak the layout. The 2.9-inch screen still seems to have the same button layout but the embossed Nokia tag on the Nokia N97 has turned move from Portrait to Landscape viewing position and clearly isn’t part of the metal surround.
When it comes to the keyboard, we knew that Nokia has done away with the D-pad but we can now clearly see that four directional buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right) have been slotted in next to the Space bar on the right-hand side. As a result, the Symbol button has been moved to the left-hand side and is joined by a secondary return button.
So, with still no official word from Nokia whether the Nokia N97 Mini will be gracing us with its presence at Nokia World 2009, we can only hope that it’s going to be one of the devices shown off. What do you think, is the Nokia N97 Mini looking like it could be a winner? Let us know what you think in the Comments below.
