Nokia 5530 XpressMusic Unboxing
The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic has landed! This entry-level touchscreen device takes the look of the Nokia 5800 but brings with it a style all its own. We’ve managed to get our hands on one of the first units in the country. Join us after the jump to take a peek inside at the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic Unboxing…
The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic launched this morning from Nokia and will sell online for £235 (inc. VAT) SIM Free. However, it will also be under contract from Carphone Warehouse, who will be making it available on a range of plan,s inclusing both Pre-Pay as well as Monthly contract.
We’ve managed to get our hands on this entry-level smartphone that makes in a neat 2.9-inch touchscreen, with touch-sensetive function keys beneath it. While the basic look is very much the same as that of the Nokia 5800, it’s a slimmed down and more compact affair. Some may say it’s lot a little of the charm of the Nokia 5800 but we like it.

@Vass. Looking at having a FULL review up on Monday – camera review up on Tuesday – we’re here to serve!
Mikey I have a question in the second last pic , there seems like black taping on the phone can you inform what it is ? I\\\’ve asked people in Nokia Pakistan but they have yet to inform me
Mikey Bee
It is indeed a thick tape that seems to be picking up the image of the circuit board beneath. I’m not picking it off for fear of what’s beneath. It seems to be holding the camera mounting in place.
Remember, this isn’t the back cover, it’s the camera mount surround. The back cover goes over the top. Hope that helps?
If the Camera Mount is held by tape , imagine what heat will do to it , I live in a place where temp could shoot upto 45 degree celsius in summers , the tape will peel off . I’ll see if the model I’m going to get has the same thing or not
