Nokia N97: Noreve Tradition Leather Case review
If you want to carry your Nokia N97 around in a case, there seem to a variety of options on offer but one of the more ‘high-end’ solutions we’ve come across is the Noreve Tradition Leather Case, which mixes a detailed finish with a tough and protective coating. See how it gets on in our Noreve Tradition Leather Case review….
Noreve is a company based down in Saint Tropez, so you expect something a little stylish and this case is no exception. It takes the standard flip-over design to protect the screen and adds a solid metal body with leather coating to hold and protect the Nokia N97.
The body is a perfect fit, with the Nokia N97 sitting snuggly inside. What’s more, the body of the case is cut away so you can get at the function buttons with ease and there is even enough space for you to still open the N97’s QWERTY keyboard. That said, we found the two corner supports of the case did get in the way a little as we typed.
The design of this case is fairly standard but the finish and build quality is top quality and adds very little to the overall bulk of the device. What we liked about this case it that suddenly you don’t mind carrying your Nokia N97 in hand luggage rather than making sure it’s in your pocket.
It’s not just the case that feels great, as the case comes with a clip for attaching the device to your belt. To be honest, this gun-slinger approach is something of an acquired taste but the clip is one of the strongest we’ve seen and the finish is solid and reliable.
Our review unit, as you can see below, came in a rather dull and boring brown but you can choose from an array of 20 different colours and finishes from the website, with some pretty interesting results.

The Noreve Nokia N97 Tradition Leather Case costs 39.99 Euros and won’t suit everyone’s style or budget but if you’re looking for something a little special, this will certainly live up to expectations. The Noreve Nokia N97 Tradition Leather Case can be bought online from Noreve.

Nice review… I agree with what you said.
I have just received mine !!!! It is perfect and very classy. I took the Jean Vintage style. Wonderful… Very thin and no interference with the keyboard.
I bought the belt clip!!! This is the best clip i have ever had…. compared to the Piel Frama one.
The only disappointement is that we can\\\’t personnalize it… but not a big deal…

Noreve definitely look to be an exciting new brand for premium mobile cases – we really like their cases, and it is great to see that they are getting good reviews.
We are shortly going to be stocking 2 Noreve cases for the N97 at Mobile Fun:

Looks, lovely and I also purchased the same case in the Exceptional leather, the only problem is that the front case rails/claws/fixings interfere with the operation of the D Pad and Symbol key (not shown in your photos) and the case adds quite a bit of bulk, I prefer the Nokia N97 pouch.
