Nokia N86 8MP gets cloned – before it’s even released!

Fancy getting your hands on the Nokia N86 8MP before its been officially launched? Well, it seems that you can if you fancy having a phone that looks, as first glance, like the N86 8MP but is in fact a shonky knock-off that has been found on sale in China.

Find out the full facts on this latest phoney-phone after the jump…

The Nokia N86 8MP seems to be hitting the headlines this week for a number of reasons. Nokia’s next killer 8-Megapixel camera has just been spotted the N86 8MP on the FFC, which is a requirement if it’s to get an official launch in the US. This report doesn’t add any great new facts to the Nokia N86 other than the Nokia N86 8MP tech specs we already knew.

However, it does mean that Nokia is serious about shipping the device this year. Now, we knew the Nokia N86 8MP was due, with some rumour mongers guessing that July could well be the launch date but there has been no official word yet so we’ll have to wait a little longer.

Of possible more interest is the news that the Nokia N86 8MP has already gone and got itself a ‘clone ranger’ in the form of the Nakia n86. Now, the report we found on this phone suggests you won’t find any features of the Nokia phone in there – so no 8-Megapixel camera, for instance – and he shonky workmanship means you’ll be a fool to buy one, especially as it’s being knocked out for 700 RMB ($103 US).

If you feel like getting ripped off then keep your eye out for this monster, but we reckon it’s never a good idea, especially when the Nokia N86 8MP looks like it’s well worth waiting for.
