The Nokia N97 may be intended to be a business smartphone but that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to use it for all your usual stuff, like taking photos on the built-in 5-Megapixel camera, or shoot video at 30 frames per second at a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels in widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio.

As if to prove how competent the camera is, Bill Perry, Sr. Services Marketing Manager for Forum Nokia shot this test footage using a pre-production sample of the Nokia N97. We’re not only impressed with the level of detail and colour balance the Nokia N97 delivers but you can also hear  how well it captures the sound in the area, even down to the ropes on the boat grinding on their moorings.
