XpressMusic for all!
Have you ever thought about the music player on your Nokia? Nokia XpressMusic seems to be an ever evolving line of phones and with the range set to expand this year with the likes of the 5530 XpressMusic or the 5730 XpressMusic devices to name two and no doubt even more to come, it’s worth thinking about how Nokia has spread the player across its whole range of phones.
If you don’t believe us, check out the full XpressMusic range. Who else can offer that number of options to meet every user’s needs?
If you’re not already using it, then Nokia XpressMusic is the built-in media player you’ll find on a whole range of phones.
The idea is that it gives you fast and easy access to your music wherever you.
Here we’ve looked at the Nokia 5220 XpressMusic, the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic and of course the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. Each of them is aimed at quite different markets but the thing you’ll notice about them is that the music player aspect is pushed right to the fore. The 5220 and 5310 even had hardwired dedicated buttons on the side of the player, while the 5800 has a neat little software loading button above the screen.
The base software is the same on each of the devices and is designed to get you building up a music collection straight away. It works seamlessly with your PC, so you can copy over any WMA, MP3 or AAC files you already have.
Naturally, to really make the most of the player you need to upgrade to a handset that supports Comes With Music, which allows you to download as many tunes as you like and not just on your PC but straight on to the device.
Where is this all heading? Well, basically, we realised we had three XpressMusic phones in the house and thought it would be a great idea to see how they stack up against each other. So, check out our Nokia XpressMusic image gallery and see which one would suit you best:

Of course the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is my favourite one as it’s Nokia’s first touchscreen mobile phone, it’s brilliant. By the way, i am glad to find that all these three new handset come with a standard 3.5mm audio jack, it’s a great improvement, how could we call a handset a music phone if it’s not equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack.
