Nokia E71 gets firmware update
The Nokia E71 is one of those smartphones that just seems to work. It’s a great little handset that last received a firmware update a few months ago.
The guys over at Nokia central have seen fit to give it an update and is now up to version v210.21.006.
The Nokia E71 has been given a firmware update to v210.21.006 but we’re not aware of any changelog at this time. We can reasonably assume this update is more for stability reasons than any specific faults, as nothing major seems to have come down the line about the E71’s stoic performance.
Aparently, updates started in the Asian region and have now reached mainland Europe. If you’ve not received the update yet then it’s simply a case of waiting – or checking the Nokia site in your region.
The Nokia E71 does not come with UDP (User Data Preservation), so remember to back-up all your data before making the firmware update, as it will erase all your data before flashing the new firmware in place.
