Nokia 5800, the party phone
What’s skinny, designed for the social life and been grabbing all the headlines of late? That’s right, the Nokia 5800, and it’s truly the party phone of choice.
It’s not only us who are talking up the delights of this smartphone as it seems the Nokia 5800 is now officially the Number One celeb phone of choice (for this party season at least).
While we had to queue in the cold and miserable weather last Friday, 23rd January, Paris Hilton and fellow celebs managed to get theirs with a little more A-list glitz. Bu they had to wait until the 27th when a bash was held to celebrate it’s launch and half-million sales. The big celebrity bash for the Nokia 5800 was held at Punk Soho in downtown London, and drew 300 specially invited guests to check out the music and movies on offer with the Nokia 5800. As you’d expect, there were a host of dependable liggers, with even Paris Hilton making an appearance.
To be fair, the press were going Goo-Goo over the latest pop-princess, Lady Ga-Ga, so Paris needed to claim a little attention of back, hence her being snapped with everyone’s favourite new Nok.
We’re all accustomed to celebrity endorsements, anyone remember Britney Spears wowing us with the wonder of her 5800 in the Womanizer vid, and the world of the celeb parties but we have to wonder why this shindig wasn’t help the same day as the REAL launch?
Along with telling the world how great the Nokia 5800 is, they were also there to get the lowdown on the Nokia Tube Dance, which is something to do with that George Sampson kid, the one who won Britian’s Got Talent. Seems like a nice lad and while he may not be the face of a generation, he’s certainly the feet!
