Nokia 5800 – full launch details

The Nokia 5800 goes on sale this Friday (23rd January) and we’ve just got the full launch details and while it would have been kinda cool if the first 5800 people all got free stuff, it seems the first 200 are in for a slew of goodies with their purchase.

The Nokia Regent Street store will open its doors early at 8AM especially to start selling the first must-have Nok of the year. The first 200 lucky people buying the 5800 will receive exclusive content including:

Films from Futureshorts
– Crabs
– I met the Walrus
– Surprise

Applications
– Sports Tracker
– Touch Guitar
– Touch Piano
– Guitar Rock Tour

That’s not all, friends, if you happen to be one of the first 100 – and get there between 8.00am and 8.30am – you’ll also receive tickets to the summer’s hottest music festival – Benicassim in Spain – get there early to avoid disappointment.

There promises to be a host of good stuff happening to coincide with the launch, including street dancer George Sampson, winner of Britain’s Got Talent, with a re-worked version of the club classic ‘Pump up the Volume’. Apparently its been remixed by VV Brown. No, we’re not too sure who he is either but he’s hotly tipped to be one of this year’s biggest chart toppers.

The Nokia 5800 will also be available from 10am at the Heathrow Terminal 5 flagship store and online at www.nokia.co.uk/shop on Friday 23 January.

The fun starts at 8AM this Friday and you’ll finally be able to get yout hands on the Nokia 5800, for the princely sum of £249 (inc. VAT). It goes on general sale a week later.
