Quake III now available for your Nok
Looking for some classic retro gaming action on your Nok? Well the good news is that some clever coder has managed to squeeze Quake III down so it’ll run on S60 handsets.
It’s been tested and confirmed to work on three S60 3rd Edition phones – so if you’ve got an N95 8GB, N82 or E90 you’re laughing. Unfortunately the original N95 doesn’t have enough RAM to run it properly, but if you’ve got a beefier S60 handset then it’s worth giving it a go.
If you’re worried about not being able to react quickly enough using the handset buttons then you can even hookup a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard for increased control.
It’s not the easiest to get up and running when it comes to setup, but you can find some handy step by step instructions over here. You’ll also need the original Quake III disc too.
