FlipSilent updated to support Feature Pack 2 devices
FlipSilent is a neat little utility that uses the accelerometer in your phone to switch it into silent mode whenever you turn it over – simple, yet effective.
Until now, though, it wasn’t compatible with S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2 devices – like the N79, N85 and N96. But the good news is the latest update means you can now ditch the menus and shush your phone with just a turn.
If you’ve forgotten to turn your phone over before a call comes in, then it’ll still kick into action if you flip it mid-ring – which should minimise interruptions if you’re in a meeting or social situation.
It’ll even work with the alarm too – so if you fancy an extra ten minutes shut eye, you can snooze or kill the alarm without trying to find the right button when you’re half asleep.
You can grab the updated version from FlipSilent now, or to see a demo of it in action click play below.
