Nokia Mobile Web Server updated to version 1.5
Things are non stop over in Beta Labs at the moment. Now, in addition to updates to Share Online and Chat – not to mention Photos graduating – the busy beta bees have managed to somehow find time update Mobile Web Server too.
The main additions to the new version centre around making access rights much easier to manage – so you can control who can see what content you publish – and it now supports intelligent network handling so it will jump on the fastest connection available.
Mobile Web Server makes it a cinch to publish content directly from your handset – so if you take a photo, for example, your friends can see it instantly if you want them too. It’s like running a web site directly from your handset.
Other updates include new RSS feeds, so people can subscribe to feeds that you publish and it’s now possible to make your own applications that run on Mobile Web Server too.
