Nokia has taken a break from buying up Web 2.0 websites for a minute and has turned its attention instead to the world of online video with its latest launch: Capsule N96. As you can imagine, it’s timed to tie in with the release of the N96 mega-phone and comprises of short, snappy features that can be viewed directly on your handset.

The videos will be available to download from www.nokia.co.uk/n96 and each one will be 96 seconds long – do you see what they’ve done there?

There are six different shows available, cover topics as diverse as cars and fashion to comedy and gadgets. The episodes will be available to grab from 1 October (the official launch date of the N96) but if you can’t wait that long, we’ve managed to get sneaky trailer you can watch in the meantime:
