Nokia nabs International Brand of the Year at Stuff Gadget Awards

Tags: Nokia, Stuff

There’s likely to be one or two sore heads in the Nokia office today after the mayhem of the Stuff Gadget Awards last night in London. Celebrations were no doubt spurred on by the fact that Nokia went home with the International Brand of Year gong as voted for by Stuff editors all over the world.

This is a big deal for Nok, because although it’s well loved over here and across Euroland, making a splash abroad – especially when you’re competing with local companies – is no mean feat. It just goes to show how far Nok has come in its international out reach programme.

We’ll be popping our own minibar sized bottle of Baby Cham later to toast Nok’s achievement, but in the meantime we’ll be putting the last finishing touches to the new look NokNok. Speaking of which – you’ve still got time to have a say, so take a look and leave any feedback you’ve got in the little box at the bottom.
