Files on Ovi officially launched, with prices

Nokia’s latest Ovi offering has been given the official nod and is now available to all. Files on Ovi lets you easily grab files from your home PC while you’re on the hoof, pulling them down to your Nok so you’ll never be stuck for a file again. The really clever bit it that with the online storage option, your computer doesn’t even need to be on for it to work.

Called Anytime Files, in exchange for your hard earned cash Nokia will provide you with an online storage locker to dump your digital possessions so that you can access them when your home PC is off or snoozing.

There are two storage levels available – 10GB will set you back £40 a year and if that’s not enough then there’s a 30GB option available for £75. If you’re still not convinced, then Nokia will let you kick the tyres for free for a month, so you get a free 30 day trial before you need to hand over any readies.

To get started, steer your Windows PC (no Mac support as present) towards Files on Ovi
