Nokia N96 officially available on 1st October!

Tags: N96, Nokia, Nseries

The wait is finally over. From Wednesday 1st October you’ll be able to pop down the high street and snag yourself one of Nokia’s finest phones to date – the N96. So if you fancy grabbing a bit of TV-receiving, multimedia packing, handset goodness the line starts now, just right behind us.

There’s no single network tie in, so you’ll be able to snag one from Orange, Three, T-Mobile, Vodafone, Carphone Warehouse or Phones4U. With that many places to pick one up, it should result in some pretty decent deals in the offing.

Just to recap the specs, in case you’re still unsure, it comes packing 16GB of storage, a 2.8in display, 5 megapixel snapper and it can tune into mobile DVB-H TV broadcasts where available. You’ll find firm favourites like A-GPS and a standard 3.5mm headphone jack included as standard and it’s even got a kick out stand at the back for watching back video in comfort – in either Flash, MPEG-4 or WMV format depending on your preference. Exciting, isn’t it?
