nWAVE touch screen concept shows off its curves
We’ve just spotted yet another Nokia concept design doing the rounds, this time presented in a short video. The nWAVE is an iPhone-bothering smartphone with a huge, cleverly curved touch screen that adds a whole heap of advantages.
We’re not sure Nokia had anything to do with the design, but whoever came up with the idea added a camera that looks the spit of the N95’s. Elsewhere the slim candybar looks like nothing in the current Nok line-up: it’s dominated by a long 5.4-inch touch screen with a gentle concave curve to it – not only does this make it more comfortable to hold or put in your pocket, it means the screen is protected from scratches and knocks when it’s put down on a tabletop, and that the microphone is angled towards the user’s mouth.
Without further ado, check the video out for yourself below, or head over to Symbian Freak to read the whole story.
