6220 classic now on sale in the UK

Sporting some high-end GPS and photographic talents in an understated candybar body, the Nokia 6220 classic looks all set to live up to its name. And the good news for us UK-dwellers is that it’s available here. Now! To buy!

We got our first look-see at this handset way back in February, and were impressed by its “glowing good looks”, not to mention the aforementioned camera, which packs a Carl Zeiss lens and Xenon flash. Then there’s GPS, with Nokia Maps 2.0 pre-loaded, A-GPS for speedy satellite lock-down, not to mention geotagging for your photos.

Elsewhere there’s room for HSDPA for lightning-quick 3G, web browser, email client, music player, an FM radio, microSD card slot supporting up to 8GB of memory and a TV output.

The price of the 6220 classic will vary depending on your contract, or you can buy a SIM-free handset online for around £260.
