Nokia Music for PC updated and improved!

Looks like the big-brained guys and gals over at Nokia Beta Labs have been hard at work as usual – they’ve just released the next version of the Nokia Music client for PC users, and the spruced up new edition comes with some welcome tweaks.

For starters, over one hundred defects and bugs have been splattered, which means the application should run a lot slicker. The team has also added support for ripping to AAC, AAC+ and eAAC+ files, and the list of supported handsets has been upped, so that it now includes: N76, N78, N81, N82, N91, N95, N95 8GB, N96, 5220, 5310, 5320, 5610, 6210, 6220, E66 and E71. Phew.

Oh, and the colour scheme has been lightened too.

You can read our thoughts on the original Beta in our Nokia Music review here. The new version is available to download from Nokia Beta Labs right now, and there’ll be another Beta update sometime after the 28th of July – this one hopefully adding Nokia Music Store integration. We’ll keep you posted, as ever.
