Nokia Map Loader becomes one stop shop

As well as shifting new maps onto your Nok, the updated loader app now lets you buy them with the click of a button.

No more messing around with activation, with the Map Loader 2.0 beta, you just pick what you want and pay. You can then download maps directly to your device so you’re ready to go exploring.

Just take a gander at the new Services tab and you’ll see which Drive, Drive & Walk, Traffic and City Guides are available – you can even see a graphical representation of which areas it covers on a thumbnail map.

Once you’ve picked the one you want, you just need to cough up some hard earned cash and then download the licence to your Nok. You can also get a quick overview of which licences you own and when they’re going to expire, so you won’t get left out in the wilderness with out a clue how to get back home.

To try out the latest version, hop on over to Beta Labs now.
