Nokia Music Store opens in Ireland
Irish users are no longer left out in the cold when it comes to the Nokia Music Store. That’s right folks – it’s just launched in Ireland.
The download store sounds pretty much the same as the UK version, with over 2.5 million tracks on offer from a host of big names and independent acts alike. There are a couple of differences, though: the pricing is in euros, obviously (€1 per track, €10 per album, €10 a month for unlimited PC streaming); and Nokia has also added a lot of content from both up and coming and established Irish artists like The Coronas, Cathy Davey and Glen Hansard.
And if you live in Ireland you can also try and bag yourself one of 24,000 free music vouchers Nokia is giving away to celebrate the store’s opening. Head over to NokiaFreeMusic for your shot, or The Nokia Music Store Ireland to sign up for the real deal.
