Automatic Screen Rotation coming to N95 8GB soon?

Jealous of the way the iPhone’s screen rotates automatically when you tilt it from portrait to landscape? Well get ready to squash that green-eyed monster, because the same feature looks set to hit the N95 8GB very soon.

According to the S60-obsessed newshounds over at Symbian Freak, the next firmware update for Nokia’s black beauty will add Automatic Screen Rotation (ASR to its buddies), which uses the handset’s accelerometer to detect which way it’s oriented and flip the screen to match! Nice work, Nokia – now bring it to the regular N95 too, will ya?

The update will reportedly bring in a whole heap of other improvements too, so head on over to Symbian Freak’s story if you want the full list…
