EMI signing up for Comes With Music?
Nokia’s Comes With Music unlimited music download service looks set to get even better – it seems record giant EMI is about to hop aboard the free tune bandwagon!
The service’ll drop a year-long, totally free music subscription in the lap of anyone who buys a selected Nokia handset. We don’t know the handsets or the exact release date – only that it’s coming in the second half of 2008. Universal has already pledged to deliver its entire catalogue, and with EMI now signed up the Nok just has to get Sony DMG and Warner convinced to have all the major labels on board.
EMI artists include Queen, Robbie Williams, Iron Maiden, Kylie Minogue, The Beastie Boys and Lilly Allen, so chances are there’s something there for you, whatever kind of music floats your boat.
