We often point you towards pre-release beta versions of software for your Nok, and sometimes these apps bring some unwanted visitors along for the ride. Yep, bugs are a pain alright, which is why Nokia Beta Labs has wheeled out the bug-o-meter.

Basically, this is a super-simple three-tier indicator of how buggy a beta app is likely to be – if it’s “technically mature” (i.e. pretty much fine) it gets the green, if there are some known issues it gets the orange, but if it’s likely to be buggier than a beetle-infested barn it gets the full-blown red. Simple as that, really. Worth keeping an eye on this handy pest gauge, but don’t worry we’ll do our damnedest to keep you clued in on the bug front too should any serious creepy crawlies appear on our watch.
