Yamake: create your own games
Think you’d make a good games developer? You’ll soon have the chance to find out thanks to Yamake, a new N-Gage title that lets you create your own customised games.
From Nokia’s description, it seems that the title provides basic mini games – stuff like picture quizzes, puzzles and so on – and lets you go to town with extra content, whether it be text, photos, sound clips or videos. So basically it gives you a template for you to stamp your own stuff onto.
Once your game’s made you can share it with your N-Gage-toting buddies, either uploading it to N-Gage Arena or sending it via multimedia message. No word just yet on when Yamake is going on sale, but don’t be too surprised if it rolls out at the same time as N-Gage proper.
