Nokia is finally going to roll out it’s spanking new N-Gage service next Tuesday. The official N-Gage blog bragged yesterday about how the service will be ready to roll next week, whilst insider sources are pointing the finger very much at next Tuesday, soon to be known as ‘Ruby Tuesday’.

First up for some mobile gaming action will be new-to-the-fold N81 users. That’s right folks, Nokia is just about managing to squeeze N-Gage out before the end of the year, but it won’t be the whole schamoley. Badging it as ‘exclusive’ for N81 and N81 8GB owners the new service will only be rolling out with a couple of games and will actually be a pre-release version of the new gaming platform. There’ll also be a forum where users can whine about the new service leave feedback.

This means the rest of us will have to wait until 2008. Shame really, as they could probably have dished it out on the N81 an age ago but they waited to try and make it available on more devices. Still, we have an N81 kicking around in the back of the cupboard so it’ll be nice to have an excuse to whip it out now!
