Nokia gets new Video Centre pals

Big name content providers have lining up to provide material for Nokia Video Center – meaning there’s tons more top drawer on-the-go clips coming to your N95.

The new partners slot in next to YouTube and Reuters, who have been chucking juicy vid-snippets our way for some time already. Here’s the full rundown:

CNN – yep, the world famous international news channel, including business, sport and entertainment updates.

IBN – the top English language news channel in India (but just available in the Asia Pacific region at the moment).

Jamba – offers three categories of downloads: music videso, cartoons and, er, “fun”.

Sony Pictures - movies trailers, “making-of” clips and similar film-related goodies.

RooftopComedy – stand-up and sketch comedy clips.

ROK – FreeBeTV, including Celebrity TV, sports, Classic Commercials and “Fun Little Movies”.

Versaly Entertainment - lifestyle channel for men including sport, comedy and user-generated clips.

Most of these are available now, and you can find them through the Video Center (or Centre, even) option in your N95‘s Applications menu. Quality-wise, it’s a bit of a mixed bag, with some of the clips looking a bit smudgy on the screen, but hopefully even more providers will be cosying up to Nokia in the near future.
